So guys, I was looking to upgrade my w/less router. Right now it's a Belkin F57230-4 and it kinda sucks for what I want to do. I have a few routers in mind but I want to ask you guys about onces that you have had experience with.

I was looking at getting one of two kinds of routers.

1. Just a w/less router I attach to my ADSL2+ modem.
2. An ADSL2+ modem + router (just to clean up all the cables and stuff).

Essential features are:
1. ADSL2+ compatible
2. Multiple PVC (for IPTV).
3. IGMP proxy support

Features that would be nice are:
1. Ability to share USB devices
2. Ability to download files to USB devices while my computers are off.

Price is not an issue but sub 100AUD would be great.
P.S I live in Australia, so if you could link me to websites that ship to Australia that would be great.

Thanks guys :)

All I can say is look for one with external antennas so you will have more options. I have not had a router I liked since my WRT54G :p

I have to agree with Sledge here. My WRT54G has been in use for almost eight years with no significant issues. Only issue I ever had was when I was using it with a DSL modem. I ended up having to set up some strange port forwarding rules to get some things to work through both. Otherwise, it's as solid as a mountain.

You know, I never really tried to work with NAS and my modem. I know I have a homegroup set up on my local network, and can share and access data that way. I don't remote much, but that may change with my job in the near future. I'll have to find out more before I can give you a definite.

You're talking about Network Attached Storage, yes?
